CLIA Staff Honored at Young Lincoln Leader Awards Gala

The Lincoln Young Professionals Group provides opportunities for young professionals in Lincoln to get involved in the community through educational, leadership, and networking opportunities. Lincoln’s group is one of the largest in the country, serving over 2,000 members. Every October the group hosts a gala to acknowledge outstanding efforts and contributions of individuals and organizations in Lincoln.

We are so proud proud to announce that our very own, Jonathan Rubio, is the winner of the Young Professional of the Year award. Jon has been acknowledged as a constant force in the office, passionately dedicated to working to uplift immigrants and refugees in our community. He is commended for his commitment to action, noted for making people act when there is inaction. We are equally excited to honor Kewan Assad, who was celebrated as a finalist for the Young Nonprofit Professional of the Year award. Kewan leads with compassion and authenticity, making a positive impact on anyone she meets. She cares deeply about others and the betterment of our community.
