About Us
The Center for Legal Immigration Assistance (CLIA) is dedicated to providing accessible legal services and advocacy for immigrants in our community. We are looking for a passionate, creative, and detail-oriented Outreach Coordinator to lead our communications and fundraising efforts. If you’re a strong storyteller with a knack for marketing, event planning, and donor relations, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
What You’ll Do
Marketing & Communications
Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase CLIA’s visibility.
Manage social media accounts, website updates, newsletters, press releases, and email campaigns.
Craft compelling stories that highlight CLIA’s impact.
Create promotional materials, press releases, and donor communications.
Work closely with legal staff to publish updates on immigration policy changes.
Fundraising & Donor Engagement
Organize community events and fundraisers that elevate CLIA’s presence and donor outreach.
Represent CLIA at public events, delivering presentations and building relationships with supporters.
Maintain donor and sponsorship databases, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-ups.
Who We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
Strong writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
Experience in marketing, fundraising, event planning, or nonprofit development.
Proficiency in social media management, basic graphic design (Canva, Adobe), website design (Squarespace), and CRM tools (Bonterra).
Must pass a background check.
Passion for social justice, advocacy, and working in a mission-driven environment.
